Evaluation & Report
Assessment
We can carry out a comprehensive on-site inspection and appraisal, we can identify potential weak spots within a building's current passive fire protection measures.
Review
Following a site inspection we generate a report listing findings and suggestions for potential solutions and recommended next steps.
Structured works
To ensure the smooth running of an installation and the avoidance of potential issues our team can work though the stages from available options to costing and order of works, all aspects are carefully considered in advance of commencement.
Implementation
Passive Fire Protection
The term passive fire protection encompasses structural measures implemented to minimise the risk of fire breaking out, and or, the significant slowing of spread. Passive fire protection is designed to provide more time for occupants in the event of a fire, reducing structural building damage. Passive fire protection systems work in various ways to reduce fire damage.
Options might include
• Fire doors
• Fire walls
• Fire floors
• Fireline boarding / cavity barriers
• Specialist spray coatings
• Intumescent paint
• Diamond Drilling
Specialist solutions
Specialist application of an intumescent coating via spaying or painting provides passive fire protection, when exposed to heat the coating is rapidly transformed and expands many times its original thickness providing protection to the structure that has been coated, this intern provides additional time to tackle the fire whilst maintaining the structure of the building.
